Lemurian Quartz: The continent of Lemuria was originally proposed in 19th century science to explain the presence of lemurs in both Africa and Asia before the theory of plate tectonics. Period writers believed it was once home to a spiritually advanced civilization like Atlantis. During the 1990's, a unique deposit of Brazilian Quartz was discovered. The metaphysical author Katrina Raphael believed these striated, slight pink crystals were seeded by the lost continent. They were given the name "Lemurian Seed Crystals". Today many think that certain Quartz from Russia, Colombia, and other localities have a similar connection.
