Ocean Jasper is a trade name for an orbicular Chalcedony, a variety of Quartz with spherical patterning, found in Northwestern Madagascar.
The source of the stone was not discovered until 1999. It is associated metaphysically with purification, balancing the chakras, and both personal and earth healing.
