Ocean Jasper Sphere Old Stock XL OSS22

Natural and genuine Ocean Jasper sphere from Marovato mine in NW Madagascar. This is an older stock sphere, quite large in size, weighing over 2 lbs. This piece is highly "jelly" translucent with high color contrast from bluish gray to red. The orbs are small in this piece, and there are thousands of them!

Ocean Jasper (Madagascar): Ocean Jasper is a trade name for an orbicular Chalcedony, a variety of Quartz with spherical patterning, found only in northwestern Madagascar. The source of the stone was not discovered until 1999. It is associated metaphysically with purification, balancing the chakras, and both personal and earth healing.
